Last ones

For the last 4 weeks, Kye and I have been doing the Countdown Game. To make it seem less painful (because, let's face it..."5 weeks" sounds like a long damn time!), we started counting Mondays. "Four more Mondays" seems like a 'doable' amount of away-from-each-other time. Well, as of yesterday, we have one more Monday. ONE MORE!! Thank the Universe! We are both so ready for this portion of it to be over with. Granted, I've had alot to get accomplished in the last month but, now that it's only "1 more Monday", it feels like FOREVER!! :)

I will miss the friends I have made here in Indiana but I know that I will keep in contact with them (AHEM, girls???) and the people I have met here that I won't keep in contact with served a purpose in either a lesson learned or a growth opportunity and I no longer have a need for them going forward. I came to Indiana 6 years ago to help care for my terminally ill mother, forge a bond with my brother and mend myself all while trying to figure out who I was and what I wanted out of life post-divorce. I did all of that and now I move back to California a very different person who knows who she is and what she wants.

6 more days...and the cross country adventure begins. Speaking of...I need to come up with a name for the adventure. I'll get back to y'all on that one...
