So, today, after fundraising for MONTHS, I will be heading to Santa Barbara for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. I'll be walking as much as I can, without killing myself, and I have raised $2,002 to fight this awful disease that affects so many women every day! The walk is 39 miles (26 the first day and 13 the next) but I will be doing what I can before my body tells me to knock it off. Since I'm having ANOTHER surgery (same problem, different solution) on Tuesday, 9/20, I won't push myself too hard as recovery from the walk AND surgery would be horrendous.
