Paper charting???

ok, let's see if I can do a proper update (mostly cuz I told Crystal that I'd do it lol).

Work: Today was my 2nd day of orientation and it was RIDICULOUSLY boring!! It's the first week so it's 'sit in a conference room and fill out paperwork while listening to uber boring speakers' kinda fun. Woot...NOT!! But I do start on the floor on Sunday so I'm looking forward to that. I'll work a week of days and then go to nocs. The only unfortunate part about my nocs orientation is that I'm with a nurse who ONLY works weekends so I'll be working Friday, Saturday and Sunday nocs for 4 weeks. Oh hell!!! *Shrug* It'll be fine...right??? lol I'm just so damn glad to be getting a paycheck again soon I'm beyond broke. *phew*

This hospital is small...114 beds right now with 12 more being added for a Prison Ward in the next few months. AND they still paper chart. Oh my god, WHAT?? THAT will be a challenge for me but I'm sure I'll be fine :)

Home: Kye and I are doing great and all is well there. We grow closer and closer every day and, dare I say, fall in love just a smidge more daily. I never ever imagined a love like this...EVER!! He's my best friend and I've never felt this way before about anyone. *swoon* He is one of the most patient people I've ever met and is just so much damn fun to be around. The kids love him and that means alot to me.

We're moving in about a month to a bigger house about 15 minutes away in San Luis Obispo. We'll be farther from the sand & water but we'll have a MUCH bigger house which will allow more space for the kids and that is IMPORTANT. They need space to roam and be. Kye's friends, Tommie & Jim, are moving to FL this coming weekend and want someone to rent their home (which Kye completely remodeled 3 years ago) because they know they will never get what they want if they try to sell it now. So, we have agreed to move in to their home next month some time along with a good friend of ours, Hector, who needs a room to rent. It'll work out fine, I'm sure, plus it will give Kye peace of mind that someone will be around when he goes to New Zealand the end of March for 6 weeks. (BLECH!!!)

So, as I sit here listening to the sound of the waves in the distance and windchimes blowing in the breeze, I am NOT missing the Indiana weather but I am missing all of you. :( Squeeze each other for me please.
